9.05 – Family Bonding

Previously, we had a destination snow wedding at the Serenity Spa, Crystal returned to the netherworld, and Freya became pregnant with the first baby of gen 10! Oh, and we had a meteor that ruined half the house and nearly killed our heir – that will teach me for playing with mods in my main game; I wanted to see more meteors, so upped the percentage change to 5%. Way too high!

Both Liesel and Marta are already on the honor roll. Good little studious simmies. Brigitta is usually too busy writing to do her homework.

And it’s prom time! I’d be annoyed you couldn’t see their formalwear, but we already saw it at the wedding.

Prom highlights:

• Brigitta was voted Prom Queen (really, EA? Either of the other two would be more fitting)
• Marta saw someone else wearing the same dress
• Liesel was denied for a dance
• So was Marta
• And Brigitta
• Liesel’s crush also avoided her the whole night

Baby time!

It’s a girl! Her name is Rizzo; this generation’s theme is Grease. Rizzo is Lucky and Insane, and she likes Hot Pink, Grilled Salmon and French music. (no, Kurt is not the father, he’s just hanging around outside the hospital – Friedrich is inside)

Not to be outdone, Max and Magdalena are now expecting their third child.

And Lorraine had a baby boy, making Samali and Seymour grandparents once again.

I must have forgotten the pregnancy popup, but Louisa had a baby girl.

It’s Snow Day! So we’re at the festival, as is tradition.

Freya and Friedrich build snowmen.

Marta makes snow angels. Oh, and that white lump in the foreground? That’s Rizzo. Poor baby.

Now that she’s no-longer pregnant, Freya can snowboard. She’s really good, too – must be that athletic skill.

Brigitta is ice skating; spinning by herself.

Rose got her face painted, then took Rizzo home. With two career-focused parents, Rizzo is destined to be cared for by her aunts and grandmother.

Friedrich has also maxed out his handiness, while Freya maxed her logic.

Since she’s at the end of her lifebar and sort of listless around the house without Crystal, I decided to let Rose meet some of her grandchildren. First stop is Gretel’s house.

This is her daughter with Jamal Moonwisp, Beatrice.

Rose gets in some tickles.

Then autonomously decides to teach her to walk. In the snow. Good choice.

Friedrich has taken his underage sisters to a bar. What a good big brother. Liesel plays video games.

Brigitta and Friedrich play darts.

While Marta jams with a random townie.

Brigitta and Marta both have wishes to be BFFs with the other. So here we go.

Brigitta also wanted to be BFFs with Liesel, so we’ll do that too.

Back home, it’s Rizzo’s birthday! I spy black hair.

Friedrich’s brown eyes and pointy ears! And, despite the lack of glowing eyes, she’s a werewolf like her mother. I must have a mod that removes the glowing.

Freya starts in on the potty training right away.

I love the Savvy Sculptor trait; Liesel is already up to sculpting with ice.

Louisa took all three of her children to the park, so Rose stalks follows them to meet more grandchildren.

This is David; he takes after his father with the weird facial features.

And David’s twin, Meghann, has Rose’s hair colour.

Ronald holds their youngest, Sue (from the notification earlier). She has Rose’s skintone! I did not know skintones could skip generations, very cool!

She starts a water balloon fight, including Vivektaa and an elderly Starfruit Sorbet.

Fairy Bot! He’s teaching Rizzo to walk.

Brigitta witnessed Freya’s werewolf transformation. She’s scared.

I figured I should get Friedrich to work some more on his LTW. With all the other things we’re doing, I almost forgot that he needs to play with the bot building station.

Gretel is back with the father of her daughter.

And her ex, Brian Langurd, is getting married!

Aw, apparently Max has lost his mermaid-status. No more scales.

Friedrich is at Bane and Corny’s house, interviewing Bane.

And playing fairy tricks.

Bane is not impressed.

And I decided there were too many old people in town, so chucked in some new meat. Mainly males, since many of the simselves are females.

Here we have some (more) Terreys; Luke, Michelangelo, Cherry Pie and Stewie.

And some Kantos; Arbok, Camerupt, Missingno and Wobbuffet.

Finally, some Vinsons; Sean, Zachary, Jon, Marcy, Oscar and Noah (Terrey).

We have a visitor tonight! This is Oxqa Pa’Lhaxalic.

I tried to get Rose to befriend him, but he left after a few minutes.

And she chose to sleep on the front walk. As you do.

Apparently I added some more Moonwisps to town as well. Jon and Daenerys are the first to hook up.

Friedrich got a popup and received a raise.

Of $450 extra per hour.

He’s now earning over $1k per hour, and he’s only at L8! University is really worth the money if you use it for your career.
